There are so many things happening when we go on a cruise. Getting to the airport, on the plane, off the plane, to the hotel, and then getting to our ship. It is all very exciting, but at the same time can be slightly over whelming. I am writing this article to hopefully help with the last part of this journey, navigating the cruise port and boarding the ship.
The first piece of advice that I have is plan well and leave plenty of time. It is our recommendation that if you are flying to your port city that you get there at least one day in advance. There are so many variables to travel, especially air travel, that keeping it a stress free is highly recommended. Besides, it's a vacation, no one wants to stress on vacation. We usually try to give ourselves two days before when it's feasible. You can spend that time getting to know your port city, trying some new cuisine, or just relaxing before your cruise.
